The centerpiece of this mobile is its collection of solid opalite glass orbs, suspended at varying heights from hand-formed brass hardware. Opalite has an extraordinary ability to capture and transform light. Depending on the surrounding light and viewing angle, the glass can shift from soft milky white and luminous cream to cool blue, aqua, and subtle iridescent tones. In direct sunlight, the orbs seem to glow from within; in softer light, they take on a quiet, misty quality.

The combination of translucent opalite glass, warm brass, and graceful kinetic movement gives this piece a sophisticated yet organic character.
