Fifteen individually hand-knotted strands create a richly textured geometric composition, balancing the organic shapes of the glass with the clean lines of a contemporary wall hanging.

Handmade in the Rubbish Revival studio using techniques refined over a decade of working with these materials. This piece was created experimentally as a meditation on the technique of stringing glass; this sculptural artwork celebrates the beauty of patient, repetitive handwork. Deep cobalt and vivid royal blue tones catch the light, while the warm brass hanging bar adds a refined metallic contrast. Suspended away from the wall, the glass strands create delicate shadows and a beautiful sense of depth.
